Vanessa A. Wells, Psy.D. earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology. She completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at North Shore Pediatric Therapy and an internship at Palos Behavioral Health Professionals.
Dr. Wells specializes in conducting neuropsychological evaluations for toddlers, children, and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, learning difficulties, developmental delays, language disorders, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, her clinical work has focused on children and adolescents in hospital, private practice, and school settings. She also has experience with the neurocognitive sequelae of various medically related diagnoses. Her past research experience has included investigating the adaptive and socio-emotional functioning in pediatric cancer survivors. Furthermore, Dr. Wells previously served as the Director of Training at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, where she trained graduate externs, technicians, and postdocs in neuropsychological assessment, scoring, and report writing. Dr. Wells has spent significant time volunteering with various hospitals and organizations including Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Shriners Hospital for Children.
