Sydney Ferstein, M.S. CCC-SLP, pursued her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University. Currently, Sydney also works at Timber Ridge Pediatric Therapy as a REACH speech-language pathologist serving the Jewish parochial schools around the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Her role at OPG includes participation in the evaluation process offering a multidisciplinary approach. Sydney analyzes the results of an evaluation and provides feedback to families, including recommendations for therapy and strategies that can be applied at home, school, and in the community to improve speech and/or language skills.
Sydney has experience in evaluating and treating the following areas: articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social pragmatic language disorders, and fluency disorders. She has experience diagnosing and treating children aged 3-21, with specific interests in the preschool-age population.
