Stacey Filerman, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing mental health services to children, adolescents and young adults. She received her doctoral degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, where she received training exclusively focused on evidenced-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Stacey completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. O’Koon; thus, she is skilled at utilizing evaluation results to inform therapeutic treatment methods and relay findings to professionals on each client’s support team.
With her undergraduate academic background in elementary education, she is especially adept at facilitating communication between children, parents and school personnel. Stacey’s specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, sleep issues, anger management, ADHD, home life stressors such as divorce and family conflict, and autism-spectrum disorders.
