Michelle Gilchrist, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who received her doctorate in Child Clinical Psychology at DePaul University. She completed her Predoctoral Clinical Internship at Duke University Medical Center and her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center where she specialized in trauma-informed care (e.g. assessment and psychotherapy).
Dr. Gilchrist has extensive neuropsychological assessment experience, having worked in a variety of hospital, community mental health, and private settings in the Chicagoland area. She specializes in conducting neuropsychological evaluations with toddlers, children, and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, attention problems, learning difficulties, and mood disorders. Dr. Gilchrist also has specific interest and specialized training in attachment difficulties, foster care/adoption related concerns, and trauma exposure.
