Dr. Jackie Owens (she/her) has extensive experience working with children and young adults in a variety of settings including private practice and public, charter, and therapeutic day schools. She received her doctoral degree in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has since specialized in the intersection of educational interventions and neuropsychological assessment for students with complex needs.
Dr. Owens’s interests include anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, specific learning disorders (including dyslexia), and autism. She prioritizes making recommendations that are specific to the child, understandable to school teams and parents, and feasible within the structure of a child’s daily life.
Dr. Owens is also an adjunct instructor at Northwestern University where she teaches Child and Adolescent Development within the School of Education and Social Policy.
