Terry-Ann Adjmul-Hislop, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her doctorate in International Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Adjmul-Hislop has extensive experience and training in the field of clinical and pediatric neuropsychology.
She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Des Plaines, IL. Dr. Adjmul-Hislop’s goal is to bridge the gap between the cultural and environmental nuisances that impact the development and adaptive skills of children and adolescents. Dr. Adjmul-Hislop has organized and conducted positive parenting seminars, psychosocial workshops, and specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders, behavioral problems, developmental delays, trauma, and adjustment disorder. Additional experience includes: working with international organizations such as UNICEF to develop culturally appropriate psychological assessment measurements and promoting mental health awareness across cultures. Dr. Adjmul-Hislop has conducted international needs assessment evaluations, worked with former child soldiers in Sierra Leone, and children with special needs in Morocco.
